What Bridge Grants does

Support at whatever stage your school needs it, onsite in Las Vegas or remotely.

How an engagement works

Most schools start with a conversation about what they already have and what they are missing.

  1. Discovery call

We review your current awards, deadlines, staffing, and any compliance concerns. No charge, and you leave with a clear picture of where things stand.

  2. Funding map and calendar

You get a written plan of the grants worth pursuing for your school, with a calendar of application, reporting, and reimbursement deadlines.

  3. Applications and budgets

I draft the narratives, build the budgets, and assemble the documentation, working with your leadership team so the application matches what your school will actually do.

  4. Post-award monitoring and reporting

Ongoing expenditure review, amendments, reimbursement requests, and reports, with a monthly summary for your leadership and board.

Tiara Bergquist

Founder and principal grant consultant

I have spent more than twelve years inside charter school grants, first as Grant Manager at Amplus Academy in Las Vegas, where I wrote and managed more than 40 awards and worked closely with the Nevada State Public Charter School Authority, and most recently as Senior Development Manager for a seven-school charter network in Indianapolis, where I managed a portfolio averaging $9 million a year.

That work covered every stage: finding the right opportunities, writing the applications, building and amending budgets, reviewing expenditures for allowability, preparing for audits, and closing awards out cleanly. Bridge Grants exists so schools without a full-time grants office can have that same coverage.
